THE POSITION

• Food preparation and cooking
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
• Providing friendly customer service
• Function catering and large-volume cooking
• Stocktaking and inventory control
• Ensuring HACCP compliance, food safety procedures, and adherence to OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

THE PERSON

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent Chef trade qualification)
• Experience in bulk cooking
• Proven experience delivering high-quality catering for meetings, events, and functions
• Highly organised, energetic, and hands-on leader
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food, with strong knowledge of food safety and allergen management compliance
• Experience working in functions and large-volume kitchens
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Sound understanding of OH&S regulations, food safety requirements, and HACCP compliance
