Account data

When you create an account we store your email address and a salted hash of your password. We never store passwords in plain text. Your email is used for sign-in, account notifications, and email verification.

Saved jobs & alerts

Jobs you save, notes you write, application statuses, and alerts you create are stored in our database and associated with your account. This data is visible only to you and is never shared with third parties.

API usage

We log API request counts per account for usage reporting and to prevent abuse. Logs do not include the content of your requests, only timestamps and endpoint paths.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

Job data

Job listings displayed on this site are crawled from public company career pages and ATS systems. We attribute each listing to its original source. We do not collect or store personal data of applicants. Apply links route to the original posting.

Your rights

You can request export or deletion of your account data at any time. Email support@useflan.app with your request.

Data retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Job data is retained for ~30 days after a listing expires, then removed from the public index.
