Data Architect (Azure) with preferable Teradata ExperienceRequirementsJob Title: Data ArchitectExperience: 10+ Years (can be adjusted) Location: [Onsite / Hybrid / Remote] Employment Type: Full-timeJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design, build, and govern enterprise-level data architecture that supports analytics, reporting, and advanced data use cases. The role requires close collaboration with business, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions aligned with organizational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesData Architecture & Strategy· Define and maintain enterprise data architecture, standards, and best practices.· Design end-to-end data solutions including data ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption layers.· Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.Data Platforms & Integration· Architect and oversee data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions.· Design data integration patterns for batch and real-time processing.· Ensure seamless integration across multiple source systems and downstream consumers.Cloud & Technology Leadership· Lead data architecture on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).· Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies (ETL, orchestration, streaming, BI).· Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of data platforms.Governance, Security & Quality· Define and enforce data governance, lineage, metadata, and quality standards.· Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.· Collaborate with security teams on data access and protection strategies.Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership· Work with business leaders to translate requirements into data solutions.· Guide and mentor data engineers and analysts on architecture best practices.· Participate in architecture review boards and technical decision-making.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills· Strong expertise in data modeling (ER, dimensional, star/snowflake).· Advanced SQL and database design experience.· Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures.· Proficiency in cloud data services (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).· Experience with ETL/ELT tools (ADF, Informatica, Glue, dbt, etc.).· Knowledge of streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hubs).Architecture & Frameworks· Experience with data architecture frameworks (TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK preferred).· Strong understanding of metadata management and data lineage.· Tera DataSoft Skills· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.· Ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.· Strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving ability.Education· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Nice to Have· Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP).· Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).· Exposure to ML/AI data platforms.· Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, etc.).· Experience in TeradataData Architect (Azure) with preferable Teradata ExperienceData Architect (Azure) with preferable Teradata Experience
