Job Title: Fabric Solution ArchitectRole SummaryA Fabric Solution Architect designs, implements, and governs end-to-end data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric. This role bridges business requirements with technical architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms leveraging Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Engineering, Data Science, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI.Key Responsibilities? Solution Architecture & DesignDefine end-to-end data architecture using Microsoft FabricDesign Lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Medallion layers: Bronze, Silver, Gold)Architect data integration, ingestion, transformation, and serving layersDefine architecture patterns for batch, streaming, and real-time data processing? Platform ImplementationLead implementation of: Fabric Workspaces & governance modelData Pipelines & Dataflows Gen2Notebooks (Spark-based engineering workloads)Data Warehouse & Lakehouse solutionsConfigure and optimize OneLake data management? Data Modeling & AnalyticsDesign enterprise-grade semantic models (Power BI datasets)Establish best practices for data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling)Enable self-service BI and governed analytics? Integration & EcosystemIntegrate Fabric with: Azure services (ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, Event Hub, etc.)External data sources (ERP, CRM, APIs)Design hybrid/multi-cloud data integration where required? Security & GovernanceImplement data governance, lineage, and catalogingDefine role-based access control (RBAC) and data security strategiesEnsure compliance with enterprise data policies? Performance OptimizationOptimize workloads for: Query performanceCost efficiency (capacity planning)Data storage strategiesMonitor and troubleshoot Fabric environments?
