We are looking for an experienced, motivated, energetic, and digitally savvy Controller to lead the accounts payable team and drive automation and efficiency. In this role, you will need to focus on automation and optimization of the team processes and build strong relationships with various stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient management of the accounts payable team through training, motivation, and development of team members.
- Identify and lead automation opportunities, process improvements, and cost efficiencies.
- Oversee AP activities to ensure they are completed accurately and on time
- Compile, analyze, and report financial information to management and government agencies.
- Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end transactions.
- Develop, improve, and enforce policies and governance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and vendors.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of managerial experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA certification
- 5 or more years of accounting experience
- Experience in accounts payable.
- Proficient in SAP, QAD, or similar type of ERP system
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and accounts payable procedures
- Experience in leading Account Payable automation projects - An advantage.
- Ability to identify and project manage new initiatives.
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and Englis
- Values the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
