CHILLER OPERATOR

CHILLER OPERATORKey Responsibilities:Operate, monitor, and control central chiller plants, including water-cooled and air-cooled chillers.Monitor chiller parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and operating conditions.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, and associated HVAC equipment.Identify and troubleshoot chiller, pump, compressor, and HVAC system faults.Maintain proper chilled-water supply and return temperatures to ensure efficient plant operation.Record daily operating parameters, energy consumption, equipment status, and maintenance activities.Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns, repairs, and scheduled servicing.Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with site HSE procedures.Maintain housekeeping and ensure the chiller plant room is clean and organized.Respond promptly to alarms, abnormal conditions, and emergency situations.Requirements:Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, HVAC, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Chiller Operator or HVAC Technician.Hands-on experience operating and monitoring central chiller plants.Experience with water-cooled and air-cooled chillers.Knowledge of chilled-water systems, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, and associated HVAC equipment.Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and HVAC equipment faults.Good understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment operating procedures.Knowledge of HSE and safe work practices.Ability to read basic equipment manuals, gauges, and technical documentation.Good English communication skills.Candidates with Qatar/GCC experience will be preferred.Requirements
