The Plant Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of industrial equipment and machinery in our clients' plants. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including but not limited to pumps, motors, conveyors, and valves. - Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and develop effective solutions to resolve them. - Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly and identify potential problems. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. - Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies. - Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times. - Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding maintenance and repair work. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plant Mechanic or similar role. - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Experience with welding and fabrication is preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must be able to work independently and in a team setting. - Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs. Job Openings Technician - DRP 2 Mechanical Shift About the job Technician - DRP 2 Mechanical Shift General Summary Manage the maintenance activities of DR Plant in order to achieve the assigned targets such as minimize plant down time and increase the plant availability & consumption of spares with cost consciousness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership and Guidance: To support the shift Senior Mechanic & sub-contractors and participate in maintenance related activities given by the shift supervisor. Optimize Production Management: To execute all scheduled (day-to-day, preventive) maintenance, corrective maintenance and major repairs of the equipments in order to optimize production & minimize plant down time with quality in maintenance related development for defined standards. Control Trouble Shooting: Responsible for trouble shooting during breakdowns/ failure of mechanical equipment's and provide the technical guidance to find out the root cause for corrective actions and give the advice to the shift supervisor. Monitoring & Inspecting: Inspection of equipments to meet engineering principles and safety regulations in ensuring quality of maintenance related development to meet defined standards. Expertise Coalition: To assist and help the Shift senior mechanic in all field activities to ensure smooth maintenance of the DR Plant for uninterrupted production. Overseeing Standards: Follow mechanical maintenance standards for all equipment in the DR Plant and the OEM recommendation for maintaining the equipment.
