The project involves the implementation, operation, further development, rollout, and migration of a large Microsoft SharePoint-based platform supporting up to approximately 190,000 users. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, managing, and monitoring rollout activities across multiple organisational units and locations. The technical environment includes SharePoint 2019 / SharePoint Subscription Edition in an on-premises infrastructure. The Senior Project Manager will also support the continuous improvement and quality assurance of rollout and migration processes, including the analysis and resolution of operational and technical issues during implementation. Responsibilities Support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex IT projects from solution development through implementation and commissioning. Independently manage defined work packages and operational project activities requiring detailed information analysis and coordination. Translate customer and business requirements into existing or new IT processes and technical solutions. Plan, coordinate, and monitor SharePoint rollout and migration activities across multiple organisational units. Identify and manage dependencies between project streams, milestones, technical components, and stakeholders. Identify, assess, document, and coordinate project risks and changes. Support project planning and controlling with regard to schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, and progress. Coordinate project team members, external suppliers, and service providers. Manage conflicting objectives and stakeholder interests within the assigned area of responsibility. Perform comprehensive stakeholder management across customers, technical departments, management, operations, and external partners. Monitor rollout execution and initiate corrective measures where deviations occur. Support quality assurance and optimisation of rollout and migration processes. Analyse technical and organisational rollout issues and coordinate their resolution. Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, schedules, and management information. Support project meetings, workshops, planning sessions, and decision-making processes. Ensure structured communication between technical teams, project management, operations, and customer representatives. Qualifications Candidates should meet one of the following educational requirements: Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable IT-related discipline, or Recognised vocational qualification in an IT profession combined with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in an IT environment. Project Management Requirements Strong knowledge and practical experience in both traditional and agile project management methodologies is required. Candidates should ideally hold one or more of the following or equivalent qualifications: IPMA Level C PMI PMP PRINCE2 Practitioner Professional Scrum Master / Scrum Product Owner Comparable recognised project management certification Equivalent evidence may also be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate more than 8 years of substantial professional experience in project management.
