Job Openings Account Specialist About the job Account Specialist Account Specialist / Customer Service (Japanese Bilingual) Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA Salary: $43,000–$45,000 annually (DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview Due to continued business growth and new client acquisitions, we are seeking a motivated Account Specialist / Customer Service Representative to join our team. After completing training, you will primarily manage three Japanese-speaking corporate accounts while serving as the main point of contact for customer support and logistics coordination. During the training period, you will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations—including order processing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management—to develop a solid understanding of logistics operations and provide effective solutions to clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy customer service, logistics, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Account Management Manage assigned corporate customer accountsRespond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer serviceCoordinate with vendors and transportation companiesCommunicate with headquarters in JapanCoordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operationsUpdate and maintain internal operating systemsAssist with process improvements and operational support Logistics & Warehouse Operations Process shipping and receiving ordersCoordinate import/export forwarding proceduresPrepare shipping documents for domestic and international shipmentsGenerate shipping lists and operational reportsMonitor inventory movements and inventory accuracyPerform picking, packing, labeling, and other warehouse support duties as needed Qualifications Professional-level Japanese language proficiencyBasic English communication skillsBasic Excel skills (formulas required; VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP experience is a plus)Comfortable using computers and general office softwareAbility to lift up to 20 lbsDetail-oriented, organized, and dependable Ideal Candidate This position is ideal for someone who: Enjoys working with customers and solving problemsIs interested in logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operationsIs comfortable balancing office and operational responsibilitiesLearns quickly and enjoys working in a fast-paced environmentIs proactive, dependable, and a strong team player Work Schedule Monday – Friday8:30 AM – 5:30 PM During the holiday season, up to approximately one hour of overtime per day may occasionally be required.
