Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operational accounting activities, including but not limited to account reconciliations, accruals, reclassifications, cost allocations, and other assigned accounting tasks within the required time frame.Participate in the month-end and quarter-end close process, including but not limited to variance analysis, processing journal entries, reconciliation and certification of general ledger accounts and DDA balances.Provide assistance in the preparation of banking regulatory reports and fulfill financial reporting requests.Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit inquiries.Research and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and out-of-balance conditions; escalate issues in a timely manner when necessary.Demonstrate due diligence and the ability to communicate effectively within the organization, with various branches and with external parties.Serve as a backup and provide assistance to team members as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.
