What You Can Expect
Operations Intern is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.
How You'll Create Impact
- Always adhering to all health and safety standards
- Ensuring all booking in of stock and outgoings are completed daily according to warehouse processes
- Picking and packing of customer and branch orders
- Ensuring stock counts are conducted
- Manual Handling
- Working in a team environment
- Processing paperwork – as required
- Using SAP
- Ensuring compliance to SOPs
- Working in a physically demanding environment
- Will need to work on a rotation system (day and night shifts)
- Ensure good housekeeping at all times
- Comply with health and safety standards
- Comply with all SOPs and Works Instructions
- Need to work overtime and shifts as and when required
- Work nightshift and weekends
What Makes You Stand Out
- Good standard of Education
- Previous relevant warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Good communication skills, verbal & written
Your Background
- Matric, essential
- Supply Chain qualifications preferred
- As required by Zimmer Biomet. Must hold a South African driving license.
