Job Overview
TE Sensors is establishing itself as a leading provider of differentiated sensing solutions across high‑growth markets including Industrial, Medical, Automotive, and Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M).
TheVice President, Product Managementis theGeneral Manager’s primary strategic and execution partner, withdelegated GM‑level authorityandfull accountabilityfor a global product and solutions segment of approximately$1B in revenue. This role is designed for ahigh‑performing, hands‑on leaderwith ambition and capability togrow into a full Business General Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Own and lead the3–5 year portfolio, technology, and investment strategy, grounded in customer needs, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and financial returns.
- Driveend‑to‑end product line lifecycle management, including launch, scale, margin expansion, and end‑of‑life decisions.
- Ruthlessly prioritize high‑impact initiatives andreallocate resources dynamicallyto accelerate growth and returns.
- Anticipate macro trends, disruptive technologies, and competitive moves; proactively adapt business and operating models.
Go‑to‑Market, Pricing & Channel Leadership
- Own globalpricing strategy and governance, ensuring disciplined value‑based pricing and margin realization.
- Define and executego‑to‑market strategiesacross direct and distribution channels, aligned with portfolio intent.
- Build and maintainsenior‑level customer and partner relationships(OEMs, Tier customers, distributors)
New Product Introduction, Project Management & Execution
- Accelerate the NPI pipeline, ensuring market‑ready launches and rapid, predictable ramp to revenue.
- Lead aglobal, multi‑industry Project Management organization, delivering complex, regulated, high‑mix sensor programs from customer award through industrialization.
- Establish and enforceexecution discipline at scale: clear governance, prioritization, escalation, and accountability for cost, quality, delivery, and margin.
M&A, Partnerships & Adjacencies
- Partner with Strategy to lead thefull M&A lifecycle: target screening, strategic rationale, diligence, and integration planning.
- Identify and buildpartnerships and adjacenciesthat expand portfolio breadth, accelerate capability development, and open new markets.
Talent, Leadership & Culture
- Build, lead, and inspire ahigh‑performing global Product & Project Management organization.
- Develop future leaders through coaching, delegation, and deliberate succession planning.
- Foster a culture ofownership, accountability, speed, and customer focus.
- Champion theenterprise adoption of AI and advanced analyticsto accelerate strategy execution and operational excellence.

- DemonstratedP&L ownershipin a complex, global product environment at or near the$1B scale.
- Clear aspiration and readiness to step into aBusiness General Manager rolewithin a global, matrixed enterprise.

- Proven ability to leadcross‑functional, global teamsand deliver measurable business results.
