Job Description:
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements:
European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

The contract duration of this VIE is 18 months.
A VIE for a Technical Data Specialist & Customer Support has arisen within Airbus Americas in Herndon.
You will join the Technical Data Department.
The AIRBUS Technical Data Department provides end-to-end solutions & services all along the Aircraft lifecycle for Line Maintenance Data, Hangar/Shop Overhaul & Repair Data and Engineering Data. We ensure authoring, production, delivery and support with an exception on Flight Operations where we only act on Delivery & Support.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will include:
The understanding of the Technical Data support activities for our Customers.
The support to our Technical Data Regional Support Managers based in the US region.
The development of initiatives/tools/processes to better capture and address our Customers' needs and make their needs more visible.
This role may involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
You have the following skills and experience:
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Aeronautics Engineering or a related discipline.
An experience in the Aeronautics world is a plus (apprenticeships and internships included).
IT tools: Google Suite, Script.
In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:
Strong motivation
Communication and Autonomy
Collaboration and Organisation
Language Skills: negotiation level of English, intermediate level of Spanish.
