Vacation Coordinator - Full Time, Seasonal - Avon, CO

Vacation Coordinators will manage phone calls and emails as the first point of contact for prospective and existing guests by planning all aspects of their mountain vacation. Provide local expert guidance while responding to customer inquiries and helping to resolve customer service issues. Build rapport with each guest to create a buying environment and maintain a relationship for lead follow up. This position is located at the Seasons building in Avon, CO. It is seasonal, starting July 2014 and ending April 2015.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist prospective and existing guests to build complete vacations by packaging resort and third party components.
  • Convert opportunities into sales in order to meet conversion goals and drive resort revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Learn details about a variety of products and services offered and accurately relay that knowledge to our guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service to a variety of clientele through personalized conversations.
  • Follow up on all sales leads and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ability to use different systems efficiently while entering accurate data.
  • Use questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication.
  • Demonstrate an ability to take direction by following an established sales script while continually adapting to ongoing coaching and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent - required
  • College degree - preferred
  • Call center, hospitality or sales experience - preferred
  • Data entry exerience - preferred
  • MS Office Suite - required
  • Property management software experience: Tour Partner, RPOS, LMS - preferred
  • Must be able to work on the phone for long periods of time - required
  • Flexible schedule, exceptional time management and attention to detail - required
  • High level of interpersonal communication and a focus on customer service skills - required
  • The ability to multitask - required
