TV8 Asst Manager-Prod/Creative Services Director - Full Time, Year Round, Avon, CO

Oversee all areas of production from idea generation, bidding, client relations, budgeting, production profit estimation as well as human asset management. Establish and maintain a high level of production quality and production value for TV8 clients and viewers.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Lead creative services with potential and existing clients to create ideas and concepts and a vision for the client to meet their advertising needs and expectations. Send all projects to clients for approval, manage & change orders.
Brainstorm and generate new ideas for sales to propose to advertisers to generate new incremental revenue.
Establish production timeline.
Must be proficient shooting and editing video, audio, lighting, set up etc.
Proficient script writer.
Basecamp Software - enter every project and production request, day to day record keeping and status updates on all projects, employee time / asset management and scheduling for all production projects.
Work independently with limited direct supervision on all stages of every production project.
Assign all production to all staff to ensure effective time management matching skills/strengths with appropriate staff to guarantee best outcome.
Provide weekly project status report to TV8 staff and management.
Oversee, hire, train, provide ongoing feedback and evaluate all production staff.
Develop relationships with independent contractors, collaborate with sales on rate negotiation, assign projects and manage timelines as necessary.
Lead regular meetings with production staff and sales for project tracking, keep sales and management updated on all projects on a regular, ongoing basis. Manage billable hours and project time tracking.
Ongoing supervision of www.tv8vail.com including regular content updates and Comcast VOD channel content
Manage TV8 Dropbox account.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

College degree - preferred.
Resort Television or small market experience - preferred.
Must have minimum 2 years personnel management experience - required.
2 years Video production and production process experience - required.
Must be computer savvy and comfortable learning new software programs - required.
Must interface with others via email, face to face, phone, etc - required.
Attention to detail is critical - required.
Must be punctual and reliable - required.
Excellent Customer service skills (internal and external) - required.
