PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE

Perform maintenance work on winter and summer trails.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on ski trails:
General trail maintenance; tree and brush removal, installing fences, snow maintenance and removal, removal of rocks and other obstructions.
Operate a variety of tools, equipment and vehicles in the course of performing duties such as chain saw, snowmobile.
Assist with other on-hill maintenance duties as assigned.
Maintain tools and equipment used in trails maintenance.
Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) by following the Resort Etiquette Guidelines.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Direct supervision is received from Trails Supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Exposure to inclement weather conditions.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School education desirable.
Good skiing ability.
Experience working with chainsaw and in operating snowmobile preferred.
