Pool Attendant - Arrowhead Alpine Club - Part Time, Summer Seasonal - Beaver Creek, CO
The Pool Attendant will oversee the outdoor swimming pool & whirlpool operations as well as indoor whirlpool operations. Duties include but are not limited to: opening and closing of pool, performing water quality/chemical level checks on pool and whirlpools, monitoring pool/whirlpool throughout evening for safety and cleanliness. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing a positive attitude and service with a smile to members and guests
- Must perform opening and closing responsibilities required for the daily operation of the pool area, including cleaning restrooms and tile in pool and hot tubs
- Arrives on time and in uniform for each shift, has proper nametag. Swipes their card at the time clock before the start and end of their shift
- Greets members and guest by name whenever possible
- Engages members & guests in appropriate conversation
- Cooperates with other staff members by assisting them as needed
- Is professional at all times when discussing the Alpine Club or Vail Resorts
- Assists with member/guest requests or questions & answer questions promptly and courteously
- Will be responsible for F&B service at the pool and members lounge for lunch service
- Complies with Alpine Club facility usage policies and all Vail Resorts policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older - required
- High school diploma or equivalent - required
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions - required
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs - required
- Able to stand for long periods of time - required
- Able to communicate effectively in English - required
- Be able to work independently and take direction
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
