The Hiking Center Front Desk position encompasses, but is not limited to the following:

  • Providing regional hiking information
  • Making reservations
  • Renting gear
  • Selling retail items
  • Working and communicating directly with the Hiking director and hiking guides to ensure the guest has the best possible hiking experience possible
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong guest service skills - required
  • Extensive knowledge of Beaver Creek and the surrounding Vail Valley hiking trails - required
  • Strong organizational and multi tasking skills - required
  • Working knowledge of Vail Resorts RPOS system and workstation operations - required
  • Previous experience working at Beaver Creek Resort
  • Able to work weekends and holidays - required
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs - required
  • Able to work in an indoor and outdoor environment - required
  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand English - required
  • In person interview - required
