Bartender - Beaver Creek Club - On-Call, Summer Seasonal - Beaver Creek, CO

A private resort hidden from view, with the power to bring people together.

The Bartender at the Beaver Creek Club is responsible for providing personalized, quality bartending service to members at high end private ski club in a timely, courteous and professional manner. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing drinks and waiting on multiple customers at the bar, as well as throughout the Great Room
  • Efficiently managing bar revenues, ensuring that all members are billed appropriately and all cash is properly accounted for
  • Verifying that guests at the bar are members or accompanied by a member and of legal age
  • Maintaining a clean work environment at all times, including daily surface cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming of the bar area
  • Maintaining par stocks behind bar by replenishing daily as necessary
  • Notifying management of ordering needs (liquor, beer, wine, paper goods, etc.)
  • Assisting with monthly inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule: On call for occasional daytime/evening functions.

Qualifications:

  • Age 21 years of age or older - required
  • High school education or equivalent, some college experience preferred
  • Able to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English fluently - required
  • Full winter season commitment - required
  • Ability to prepare drinks and wait on multiple customers throughout the bar - required
  • Must have a competent knowledge of wines, beers and mixed drinks - required
  • At least two years prior bartending experience - required
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays - required
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds - required
  • Ability to stand continuously for 6 hours - required
  • Valid TIPS certification - preferred
