Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for the operation of the snowmaking equipment in the most efficient way possible while producing the best quality product for our guests.

Operate snowmaking equipment safely and efficiently.

Offer continual training and assistance of the standard operational and safety practices to the Stage II Snowmaker.
Make snow according to all standards operating practices and safety procedure as instructed and or outlined in the manuals set forth by Keystone Resort.
Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures.
Undertake general building maintenance and housekeeping on a daily basis
Maintain snowmaking equipment as directed.
Develop and foster a teamwork approach.
Assist in Pipeline Replacement.
Fundamental understanding of plant facilities and operational variables.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
2 seasons experience in snowmaking
Fluent in English
Valid driver's license
Able to work extended hours in alpine weather conditions
Able to lift 50 lbs
Team player with supervisory experience
Basic understanding of mechanical equipment
Snowmaking experience at Keystone Resort
