Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Job Posting We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to support a teenage girl with special needs in the Wausau area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring youth and is passionate about making a meaningful, positive impact. Support may take place either in your home or within the community. Responsibilities include creating a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment while helping the individual build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.Wage:$17.66 per hour (shift less than 8 hours)$256.00 per day (shifts more than 8 hours)Hours:20 hours per week – after school4 days per month - every other weekendResponsibilities:Provide companionship and supervision - always ensuring her safety.Communicate effectively and professionally with the teen and her family.Create firm boundaries but still be kind and empathetic.Be present and engaging.
