Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Job Posting We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to support a teenage girl with special needs in the Wausau area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring youth and is passionate about making a meaningful, positive impact. Support may take place either in your home or within the community. Responsibilities include creating a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment while helping the individual build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.Wage:$17.66 per hour (shift less than 8 hours)$256.00 per day (shifts more than 8 hours)Hours:20 hours per week – after school4 days per month - every other weekendResponsibilities:Provide companionship and supervision - always ensuring her safety.Communicate effectively and professionally with the teen and her family.Create firm boundaries but still be kind and empathetic.Be present and engaging. Participate in activities that are meaningful to her.
