Our work includes electric propulsion, chemical propulsion, Hall Effect thrusters, propellant management systems, and advanced materials. Busek has flown multiple propulsion systems in space and supports a range of commercial, civil and U.S. government space programs.

Position Summary

Busek is looking for a Technical Project Manager to help lead complex aerospace projects from initial planning through design, manufacturing, testing and delivery. This position will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Procurement and customers to keep projects moving, identify issues early and ensure technical and program requirements are met.

The ideal candidate is technically capable, highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to understand technical issues, coordinate across teams and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

Manage aerospace projects from planning through final delivery.

Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables and action items.

Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Procurement and other functional teams.

Work with engineering teams to understand technical requirements, design activities, testing and project risks.

Track project progress, identify schedule and resource issues, and drive corrective actions.

Lead regular project meetings and communicate status, risks, issues and next steps.

Work directly with customers and suppliers as needed to coordinate technical and program activities.

Support development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, budgets and technical documentation.

Monitor engineering and manufacturing deliverables to ensure they remain aligned with customer and program requirements.

Help identify technical, manufacturing, schedule and supply chain risks before they impact the project.

Coordinate engineering changes and ensure appropriate teams understand impacts to cost, schedule and delivery.

Support proposal and project planning activities, including estimates, schedules and resource requirements.

Assist with program reviews and customer presentations.

Maintain clear project documentation and ensure action items are followed through to completion.

Work closely with project and functional leaders to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule.

Contribute to continuous improvement of Busek's project management processes.
