Job Summary AEM/Java Technical Lead: Lead solution design and delivery for AEM-based projects. Bridge business and technical teams, define requirements/architecture, and guide a cross-site engineering team through implementation, integration, and rollout. Job Details Analyse business and technical requirements; translate into Software Requirement Specifications, Product Backlogs, and Basic/Detailed Design documents. Lead technical workshops to scope feature and system integrations, providing hands-on coding guidance where needed. Provide hands-on AEM and Java development leadership, architecture decisions, code review, and debugging support for the team. Coordinate between business stakeholders and technical team members, translating requirements both ways. Work with client teams and offshore/onshore team members to deliver integrations and system enhancements. Guide deployment, rollout, and post-go-live stabilization, including checklists and technical documentation handover. Identify and escalate risks to schedule, cost, quality, or resourcing early, working with leadership to resolve them. Job Requirements 1. Technology, hands-on experience required: AEM: hands-on experience with AEM 6.2, AEM 6.5, and familiarity with AEM Cloud (architecture differences, dispatcher/publisher config, content authoring, component/template development) Java / Backend: Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive; solid grounding in Object-Oriented design; experience with multithreaded/parallel processing applications Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS; working knowledge of Angular, ReactJS, or jQuery Cloud: working familiarity with Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Storage, basic networking concepts) — deep infra/networking configuration is not required; conceptual understanding sufficient to coordinate with a dedicated cloud/infra team Database: MS SQL DevOps/Tooling: Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, NewRelic Servers: Tomcat, Apache/httpd, Linux fundamentals 2. Leadership & delivery experience: At least 4 years leading a technical team, including coordination across multiple sites (onshore/offshore) Experience conducting technical workshops for feature/module integration, from high-level design down to implementation guidance Experience planning and overseeing feature deployments and monitoring post-release stability 3.
