Job description
Job detailsApplication formOur MissionHealthie is an AI-Native, ONC Certified EHR for modern outpatient healthcare. Healthie is proud to power clinically excellent healthcare for over 40,000 providers who deliver clinically excellent healthcare - longitudinal and collaboratively, with patient and provider experiences at the center. Both healthcare and technology are undergoing unparalleled industry innovation, and it’s incredible to see the momentum - from consumers, from providers, and from reimbursement for this type of healthcare - grow exponentially. We provide the powerful infrastructure every care delivery organization needs. On the surface this includes EHR, Scheduling, Engagement, Billing, Data, and much more. Underneath the iceberg are thousands of configurations, settings, widgets, automations, and limitless capabilities because we are an API-first platform. Our fully brandable platform makes it easy for clinics and organizations of any size to scale and never reach a limit. Today, over 3 billion API calls are made to Healthie every month, as thousands of organizations who work with more than 21 million patients in total, rely on Healthie to deliver clinically excellent healthcare in over 35 specialties, from behavioral healthcare to complex chronic care management and personalized medicine. We believe in the power of technology to improve access to healthcare and we’re building the rails that make this a reality. We work fast and with quality because we provide business-critical, healthcare-critical software that clinicians and patients need for a better healthcare system. We’re customer-obsessed, operate with lightning-fast processes and responses, and always share our product roadmap publicly- so customers can see what we’re building, and remain relentlessly focused on how care gets delivered.Healthie is backed by leading investors, and while we've $42M raised to date, more importantly, we operate with fiscal responsibility and have been profitable for more than half of our time as a company. We know that building an ONC-Certified EHR is a lifetime’s body of work, and we are here to build for our customers forever.Learn more at https://www.gethealthie.com/About the roleWe're hiring a Clinician Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for Healthie's Private Practice segment — from first touch to close. This is a high-impact, high-ownership revenue seat: you'll both convert the inbound demand our Growth engine generates and build your own outbound pipeline, closing group practices onto the platform. As our marketing, content, partnerships, and BD motions scale, so does the volume of practices evaluating Healthie. You'll be the person who turns that demand into closed business — running consultative discovery, delivering tailored demos across our full product suite, and guiding clinicians through the decision to build their practice on Healthie. You won't wait for leads to come to you; you'll prospect into the practices we most want to win, with a bias toward the higher-value group opportunities where the ACV justifies the effort. This role sits on our Sales team and reports to the VP of Sales. You'll work in lockstep with the Growth team — marketing, lifecycle, and partnerships — as well as BD, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product, to make sure every qualified practice has a clear, well-supported path to becoming a customer. You'll love this role if you're a full-cycle seller who is energized by talking to clinicians every day, thrives on both self-sourced and marketing-sourced pipeline, and wants to own a number at a fast-growing company with real product-market fit.At Healthie, we are AI-enabled and AI-accelerated in how we build. We are looking for team members who actively leverage AI-powered development tools, embrace automation, and help teams adopt modern, AI-assisted engineering practices to increase velocity and quality. What you'll ownFull-Cycle Sales Execution — primary responsibilityOwn the full sales cycle for Private Practice — from first touch through close, across both inbound leads and self-sourced outbound opportunities.Run consultative discovery and tailored demos — understand each clinician's clinical and business goals, and position the right Healthie solution against them.Close solo and group practices — guide prospects through evaluation, qualification, and close with a genuine, partnership-first approach. Prioritize group practices where the ACV is highest.Own your number — practices closed per month, group mix, and pipeline contribution. You carry a quota and you drive toward it.Outbound Pipeline GenerationBuild and work your own outbound pipeline — you don't wait for leads. Prospect into target practices, run multi-channel outbound sequences, and generate meetings that convert. This is a first for the CAE role at Healthie — today there's no outbound motion here, so you'll be helping stand up that muscle from scratch.Focus where leverage lives — use ICP signals to prioritize group practices and high-value solos, and spend your time where it produces the most revenue.Partner on target accounts — work with BD and Growth on account lists, campaigns, and events, while owning your self-sourced pipeline end-to-end.Product & Consultative SellingDevelop deep fluency across Healthie's full platform — EHR, scheduling, billing and claims, patient engagement, client portal, AI Scribe, and our API / integration capabilities.Match the right solution to each buyer — handle clinical and technical questions credibly, and pull in Sales Engineering when a deal needs it.Stay current on the market — health-tech and provider-industry trends, competitive positioning, and what clinicians actually care about, so every conversation is informed.Cross-Functional Collaboration with GrowthConvert the demand the Growth engine creates — as lead volume scales from content, webinars, ads, and partnerships, you're the closer on the other end.Feed signal back to Growth and Product — which segments convert, what objections surface, and where messaging or product can improve.Represent Healthie externally — conferences, webinars, promotions, and community events where our buyers show up.CRM Hygiene & ForecastingKeep clean, accurate records in Salesforce — every conversation logged, every opportunity staged correctly, with realistic close dates. No pipeline inflation.Forecast honestly — give leadership a reliable read on the month and the quarter. How you'll spend your time65% — Selling: discovery calls, demos, and closing inbound and outbound opportunities.20% — Outbound Pipeline Generation: prospecting, sequences, and self-sourced meetings.10% — Product & Enablement: deepening product mastery, prepping tailored demos, and staying sharp on the market.5% — Cross-Functional & CRM: Growth collaboration, feedback loops, and pipeline hygiene.About youFull-cycle seller: 3–5 years of sales experience in B2B SaaS and/or healthcare, with a track record of both self-sourcing pipeline (outbound) and closing. You own a number: you're comfortable carrying a quota, you have a bias toward execution, and you don't wait to be handed leads.Consultative and partnership-first: you guide prospects through discovery, qualification, and solution alignment to build lasting relationships — you don't push product.Clinician background is a major plus: if you are (or have worked closely with) therapists, dietitians, physical therapists, or similar providers, you'll bring credibility and empathy that resonate deeply with our buyers.Product range: able to learn and articulate a broad, technical product suite, and to engage senior decision-makers across formats — calls, demos, and conferences.Business acumen: strong quantitative skills to build proposals and navigate buying cycles with ease.Exceptional communicator: strong written and verbal skills; trustworthy, empathetic, and a genuine team player who digs into challenges but knows when to ask for help.Resilient and results-oriented: you move deals forward even when faced with obstacles.Mission-driven: you care about expanding access to care and improving patient outcomes.Values fit: you embody Healthie's core values — Respect, Reliability, and Resilience — and live by our Good Citizen principles in how you work and collaborate. What success looks likeFirst 30 days: onboarded on product, ICP, and sales process — shadowing calls and running your first discovery conversations.First 60 days: independently running the full cycle on inbound, with outbound sequences live and generating meetings.First 90 days: consistently closing private practices, contributing meaningful self-sourced pipeline, and forecasting reliably.Ongoing: a durable, repeatable contribution to the team's growth goals — with a healthy mix of self-sourced and marketing-sourced pipeline, weighted toward high-value group practices.Details, detailsThis is a full-time, hybrid position based in our NYC (Midtown) HQ, with some travel as neededThe base salary for this role is $100,000 per year + annual company bonus, equity & benefitsOn-Target Earnings (OTE): $175,000 total, which includes base and uncapped commissionU.S. work authorization is required; Healthie does not provide sponsorshipInterview ProcessQuick chat with someone from our Talent team (20 minutes)Interview with Stacy, VP of Sales — hiring manager (30 minutes)Interview with Vivek, Sr. Director, Growth & Revenue Operations (30 minutes)Onsite at our NYC HQ: mock discovery + demo presentation with Stacy, AEs, and RevOps (45 minutes)Reference checksLearn more at gethealthie.com/careers.Healthie is subject to HIPAA and other security and privacy frameworks, and this job entails training and conformance to expectations regarding security and compliance.Healthie participates in e-verify.Healthie is committed to equal employment opportunity.
