Purpose:
- To drive the Company's Vehicles safely by the rules governing the Company's Road Transport operations and the Laws of Bermuda. To safely deliver LPG cylinders to various customers' Island wide and to collect and submit accurate funds to the Depot Clerk. To assist the Truck Attendant(s) as required.
Accountabilities:
- Safe delivery of LPG cylinders and bulk deliveries to Customers sites.
- Transportation of goods from Customs to the Company's compound when required.
- Completion of Drivers Daily Vehicle Checklist
- Completion of the Daily Truck Defect Report form
- Report any vehicle incidents which may occur immediately to the Operations Supervisor
- Responsible for daily collection and submission of accurate funds to the Depot Clerk.
- Driving the Company's vehicles according to the regulations governing the use of Company vehicles. Practice defensive driving techniques always.
- The safe handling of company equipment and documents.
- Ensure that cylinders are adequately secured on vehicles while on public roads
- Assist in the shifting and stacking of LPG cylinders bottles at the depot and retail sites
- Ensure that the vehicle assigned to you is always clean and in good working condition.
- Completion of the LPG Bulk Customer Site Checklist
- Provide feedback to the Operations Supervisor on the state of LPG racks at reseller sites
- Participate in HSE meetings and Driver toolbox talks
- Participate in the Company's HSE programs such as hazard ID, SBO, etc
- Identify and report Black Spots on customer routes
- Participate in actual emergency response and safety drills
- Employ customer care techniques to make the delivery process a pleasant and professional experience to the customers
- Any other duties assigned to you from time to time

Qualification Requirements:
- Secondary Education, with 3 CXC passes, Math and English included,\u00A0
- Have mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Experience in driving heavy goods vehicles

Other Competency Requirements:
- Well organized,
- LPG knowledge of safety
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and an attitude to work well with others in teams.
- HSE and Emergency Codes compliance.
