Job description

The Structural Engineer supports Infrastructure Solutions business and interacts with and supports local & Regional engineering and product teams. This role is also responsible for developing Structual design packages for IS solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Produce preliminary structural design packages
  • Develop preliminary Issued to Detail design and IFC level design structural design packages
  • Sustains engineering of current production designs.
  • Review Structural BOQs
  • Provide technical support to subcontractors, project managers, QAQC, Safety engineers & Vertiv procurement team

Education

• Bachelor’s degree, Civil/ Structural Engineering or related degree

Requirements

  • Around 7 years of experience in steel building construction projects
  • Around 5 years of experience in design works
  • Good understanding about steel design works
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.
  • Basic experience with Revit or similar tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
  • Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.
