Staff / Principal Engineer, Facilities Construction – Mechanical

Role Purpose Provide technical leadership for mechanical facilities systems including HVAC, cooling water, exhaust, and thermal management infrastructure in designated Japan site. Key Responsibilities * Lead construction of major mechanical utility systems (PCW, CTW, HVAC, exhaust). * Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, energy modeling, and design validation. * Ensure compliance with Japanese building codes, JIS standards, and safety regulations. * Lead commissioning, system balancing, and performance verification. * Manage design firms and construction contractors. Qualifications * Bachelor degree or above or equivalent working experience * 8+ years in mechanical design and construction in Japan. * Knowledge of cleanroom HVAC, vibration control, sub‑fab mechanical systems. * Japanese language required Requirement: Must have prior Japan work experience.
