Sr Systems Eng Supervisor

The role operates across the complete IMC value chain: opportunity identification and shaping, service creation, offering enablement, solution development, engineering execution, deployment support, and lifecycle services. The leader is simultaneously accountable for people leadership, engineering capability, AI adoption, revenue growth, billable hours, and alignment with IMC regions, R&D, P&E, Offering Management and Sales Management.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Automation or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in industrial automation, engineering services or process solutions.
• 10+ years in technical leadership roles, with experience leading global teams and developing engineering capability.
• Hands-on experience with IMC control-system products and technologies, including PLC, DCS and SCADA.
• Experience working with Honeywell IMC Product Management, Offering Management and R&D organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to create or scale engineering services, grow billable hours and influence revenue outcomes.
• Experience connecting opportunity development, offering enablement, execution and lifecycle services.

Mandatory business and technical knowledge

• Good understanding of IMC business models, revenue drivers, offering lifecycles, regional operating nuances and engineering value chains.
• Strong knowledge of Modular Systems and working knowledge across GTAC, SI Connect, Metering, Skids, TAS, P&E and Lifecycle Services.
• Ability to translate product and technology roadmaps into GPE capability plans, deployment methods and scalable services.
• Commercial fluency in revenue, billable hours, utilization, productivity, white-space development and service portfolio expansion.
• Practical understanding of AI-enabled engineering and opportunities to improve productivity, quality and service value.

• Lead initiatives to increase GPE revenue in dollars and expand billable engineering hours.
• Expand regional engineering engagement and improve engineering productivity and utilization.
• Create new engineering, consulting and lifecycle services aligned with IMC priorities.
• Develop white-space opportunities and expand the service portfolio beyond established segments.
• Measure success through revenue growth, billable-hour growth, white-space development and service portfolio expansion.
• Opportunity development: identify growth opportunities, assess regional demand, evaluate GPE white spaces and define service concepts.
• Service definition and offering enablement: develop deployment methodologies, engineering service packages, reusable assets and delivery standards.
• Engineering execution enablement: build competencies, develop delivery frameworks, ensure organizational readiness and establish deployment support models.
• Lifecycle services: define optimization services, develop modernization programs, establish recurring revenue streams and support portfolio expansion.
• Offering Management: understand portfolio priorities, identify adoption opportunities, develop engineering growth plans and support commercialization initiatives.
• Product Management: understand market requirements, shape engineering-service offerings, create deployment strategies and support portfolio growth objectives.
• R&D Technical Leadership: understand technology roadmaps, align capability plans, prepare GPE for upcoming releases, and identify pilots and new service opportunities.
• Regional IMC organizations: align GPE capacity and capability with the needs of META, Europe and the Americas.
• Current offerings: Modular Systems, GTAC, SI Connect, Metering, Skids, TAS solutions, Process & Engineering Services, and Lifecycle Services.
• Future offerings: emerging IMC technologies, AI-enabled solutions, digital engineering capabilities and new product introductions.
• Identify how successful approaches from one IMC segment can be adapted and scaled into adjacent segments.
• Engineering productivity: knowledge-management automation, engineering-process automation, design-productivity enhancement and documentation automation.
• AI-enabled service development: create services using AI-assisted engineering, digital deployment methods, Engineering Copilot capabilities and intelligent lifecycle solutions.
• Build a prioritized portfolio of AI use cases with clear engineering, quality and business-value measures.
• Increase engineering output, quality and billable capacity without proportional headcount growth.
• Define future skills and technical competencies across GPE.
• Create competency roadmaps aligned with business-growth priorities.
• Develop certification plans that strengthen technical depth, delivery consistency and confidence.
• Build reusable engineering frameworks, tools and templates that improve quality and productivity.
• Standardize delivery methodologies to enable repeatable execution across regions and offerings.
