Sr Content Acquisition Manager, Prime Video Nordics
Active
Job description
Come build the future of entertainment in the Nordics with Prime Video. Are you interested in helping shape the future of movies and television? Do you want to help define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching?
Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies - all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. Prime Video offers customers thousands of popular movies and TV shows from Originals and Exclusive content to exciting live sports events. Prime Video also offers our members the opportunity to subscribe to add-on channels which they can cancel at any time and to rent or buy new release movies and TV box sets on the Prime Video Store.
Prime Video is a fast-paced, growth business - available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The team works in a dynamic environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do. If this sounds exciting to you, please read on.
We are hiring for a Sr. Content Acquisition Manager for the Nordics to join our team, based in Stockholm/London. This role is a key contributor to the Prime Video organization and will be the cornerstone between Programming, Amazon Studios, marketing and PR to help ensure the most customer obsessed content portfolio. This role will be responsible for helping identify the content needed to support customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, supporting the negotiation with local and international partners on acquiring such content and aligning the content initiative with programming and marketing to ensure Prime Video customers are always engaged, well-served, and delighted by our service. Specifically, this involves diving deep on the audience goals of each title, and making recommendations to maximize their success.
A successful candidate will identify the right content that will help shape a customer-obsessed content portfolio for the Nordics through a deep understanding of individual titles that maximize performance across the local video slate. A critical thinker with strong attention to detail, capable of evaluating data from multiple sources, managing multiple priorities, and thriving in a cross-functional matrix environment while thinking beyond their immediate responsibilities. The role will rely heavily on influence over authority to deliver project outcomes. Effective cross-functional collaboration within the Global/EMEA Programming Strategy team and across Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams is crucial to the success of this role.
We welcome applications from Danish/Swedish-speaking professionals based in Stockholm or are open to other locations (e.g. London).
Please reach out to the Hiring Manager for a discussion if you are interested in learning more about the digital video landscape.
