Job Title: Special Airport Systems (SAS)Job Summary:The Special Airport Systems (SAS) Engineer/Manager is responsible for the design, integration, coordination, and implementation of specialized systems critical to airport operations. This role requires in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with airport-specific systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with the overall airport environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, design, and execution of SAS including but not limited to:Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS)Baggage Handling Systems (BHS)Airport Operational Database (AODB)Building Management Systems (BMS)Access Control & CCTVPublic Address/Voice Alarm (PA/VA) SystemsCoordinate with stakeholders including airport authorities, design consultants, IT teams, and contractors.Review and validate technical specifications, drawings, and system interfaces.Ensure SAS systems comply with international airport standards (e.g., ICAO, IATA).Manage system integration testing, commissioning, and handover processes.Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality for SAS packages.RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, IT, or related engineering discipline.Minimum 5–8 years of experience specifically with Special Airport Systems on medium to large-scale airport projects (experience is mandatory).Strong knowledge of airport operational requirements and system interoperability.Familiar with international aviation standards and IT infrastructure frameworks.Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.Preferred Certifications:PMP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications.Job Title: Special Airport Systems (SAS)Job Summary:The Special Airport Systems (SAS) Engineer/Manager is responsible for the design, integration, coordination, and implementation of specialized systems critical to airport operations.
