The Opportunity
We are seeking highly motivatedSoftware QA Engineerswith a passion for quality and automation to join our growing engineering team. You’ll be embedded within an agile delivery squad, working closely with developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-performing, scalable microservices and backend APIs.
This is a hands-on technical QA role – perfect for engineers who love building robust automation, diving deep into systems, and ensuring software works flawlessly under real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks formicroservices,APIs, anddata pipelines
PerformBackend API testing,Database validation, andIntegration testing
WriteBDD testsusingCucumberin aJava-based test framework (JUnit, Maven, Gradle)
Automate tests forSpring BootandSpring Batchapplications deployed toOpenShift/Kubernetes clusters
ValidateSQLqueries,stored procedures, and complex data transformations
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (UDeploy, Jenkins, etc.)
Collaborate with developers to define test coverage, quality metrics, and debug issues
UseUnix/Linux commandsfor log analysis, deployment, and validation in distributed environments
Work with container orchestration tools likeKubernetes,OpenShift
Interact with distributed systems includingKafka,Redis, etc.
Must-Have Skills & Technologies
5 years experience inJavadevelopment for test automation
Cucumber,JUnit,MavenorGradle
StrongAPI testingexperience (REST, JSON, etc.)
Experience testingmicroservicesin production-scale systems
SolidSQLknowledge – writing queries, validating stored procedures
Spring BootandSpring Batchfamiliarity
Comfortable withUnix/Linux commandsfor debugging/logging
OpenShiftorKubernetescluster experience
Experience withUDeploy,Redis, andKafka
Desirable Experience (Nice to Have)
Performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
CI/CD tooling beyond UDeploy (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
Docker-based containerization
AI experiencewhich streamline test activities resulting in improved product quality and delivery.
