Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of end-to-end processes for fulfilling e-software solutions to customers, including the introduction of new software products. The role works at the intersection of software development, system architecture, and project management to ensure the successful development and deployment of software solutions that address a wide range of challenges and requirements. The role optimizes software systems for enhanced performance, scalability, and resource efficiency to deliver an optimal end-user experience.
The selected candidate applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues.
Responsibilities
• Analyzes architecture design and determines electronic software delivery solutions and integration activities based on general objectives of product or solution.
•Identifies required interaction between software licensing systems and ERP systems.
•Recommends solutions for specific software delivery requirements based on country, legal requirements, and system limitations.
•Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for the required software delivery solution; identifies and debugs and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture.
• Creates and maintains detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user manuals.
•Leads a project team of other engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for software supply chain.
•Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects. Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in program management, systems engineering, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
