Daily monitoring and support of batch jobs.Perform hotfixes as and when required.Perform monthly deployments and quarterly DB password change.Perform assessment and scheduling of batch jobs due to system maintenance activities.Provide first level support to business users in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.Collaborate with business partners, third party vendors, and technology teams to achieve effective issue resolution within the specified SLA.Analyse, document and track all actions taken throughout the lifecycle of the issue.Evaluate documented resolutions, analyse trends, and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences of similar issues.Participate and collaborate with the development team in requirements gathering, clarification, and analyse impacts on issue or users’ requirements.Assist the application development team as needed by validating fixes or enhancement to ensure problems have been adequately resolvedReport to the Project Manager pertaining all production support activities.Participate in system maintenance activities at odd hours when required including midnights, weekends and public holidays.Requirements2-3 years of experience in customer support within an IT environmentPolytechnic or University graduate with IT backgroundKnowledge and hands-on experience on UnixKnowledge on messaging systems such as IBM Websphere MQ (good to have)Knowledge in Java languageGood Oracle SQL knowledgeAvailability to work odd hours when required
