As a Software Build Engineer, you willDesign, develop, and implement build and software engineering solutions aligned with technical requirements and product roadmaps.Prepare and execute technical work packages while ensuring quality, delivery planning, and timely execution.Develop, maintain, and optimize Bazel-based build systems, including rules, macros, platforms, toolchains, remote build execution (RBE), caching, and hermetic builds.Build and maintain automated software integration and release pipelines using modern CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions.Develop software solutions using Go and Python, with exposure to modern software design principles, algorithms, and test-driven development (BDD/TDD).Manage source code repositories and version control using Git, GitHub, and ClearCase.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, communicate technical challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions.Drive continuous improvement in build infrastructure, software quality, and development processes.What You Bring to the Table:8+ years of experience in software development and build management.Mandatory hands-on experience with Bazel development and build system implementation.Strong knowledge of Bazel concepts including rules, macros, platforms, toolchains, RBE, caching, and hermetic builds.Hands-on programming experience in Go and Python.Strong understanding of modern software development practices, algorithms, and test-driven development.Experience with automated software integration and release processes using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.Good knowledge of source code management systems including Git, GitHub, and ClearCase.Exposure to C++, Rust, Nix package management, infrastructure as code, and cloud technologies is an added advantage.You should possess the ability to:Work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams.Perform efficiently under pressure while meeting project deadlines.Demonstrate a strong quality-focused and proactive mindset.Lead by example with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.Communicate technical challenges and solutions clearly to various stakeholders.Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize build systems and software development workflows.Adapt quickly to evolving technologies and engineering best practices.What We Bring to the Table:Opportunity to work on modern software build systems and cutting-edge engineering solutions.Collaborative and technically skilled engineering environment focused on innovation and quality.Exposure to advanced build technologies, automation, CI/CD, and scalable software development practices.Continuous learning and professional growth through challenging technical projects.Let’s ConnectWant to discuss this opportunity in more detail?
