Social Media Expert Cairo Water Week

We are hiring: for a short- term assignment a Junior Social Media Expert for Cairo Water Week under the EU-funded project.

About the project:

The ‘European Union Communication and Visibility in Egypt’ project supports the EU Delegation (EUD) in Egypt in effectively communicating the EU-Egypt partnership. By raising awareness about this partnership and increasing EU visibility, the project aims to foster a better understanding of the EU-Egypt relationship, enhance the visibility of the European Union and improve the perception of EU programmes in Egypt.

The EU water and social Infrastructure sector will be covering the Road to Cairo Water Week, Cairo Water Week and approved post Cairo Water Week follow up activities.

The Junior Social Media Expert for Cairo Water Week is expected to fulfil the following responsibilities.

• Co-design a Cairo Water Week social media plan
  
• Provide live social media coverage during Cairo Water Week
  
• Create platform-specific content highlighting the event
  
• Support with reels, stories, and real-time engagement
  
• Work closely with the communications team on site to ensure sufficient quality social media coverage in both English and Arabic
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in social media tactics and coverage
  
• Strong copywriting in English and Arabic
  
• Creative mindset and knowledge of youth-oriented trends
  
• Based in Cairo and fully available during Cairo Water Week
  
• EU Experience is preferred
