Working closely with the Premises Manager and School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school site, ensuring all buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school while ensuring health and safety remains a priority.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and locking the school site.

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs.

  • Monitoring security systems.

  • Completing daily site inspections.

  • Preparing rooms for meetings and school events.

  • Supporting external contractors.

  • Maintaining the school grounds.

  • Carrying out fire safety checks.

  • Monitoring heating and lighting systems.

  • Responding to maintenance requests.

  • Assisting with deliveries.

  • Maintaining maintenance records.

  • Supporting health and safety compliance.

  • Reporting major repairs promptly.

  • Ensuring the school remains clean and welcoming.
