Job description
As a Site Clerk, the primary responsibilities involve tracking attendance, managing allocation sheets, recording material transactions, and maintaining various registers related to manpower, equipment, and materials. This role is critical in ensuring accurate record-keeping for efficient project operations.
Diploma is preferred
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience with construction/ contracting company in the UAE.
Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multi-task and troubleshoot.
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Should be detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy. Good administration skills.
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
- Marks attendance and reports it to the Project Manager / Construction Manager / Project Engineer
- Collects allocation sheets duly signed by the engineers and forwards them to MO on due time. Enters labour Time Form allocation into the system and prepares weekly labour cost report
- Receives, counts and verifies materials received. Issues and records MRIR on due time on Material Receipt and Inspection Report (MRIR) register.
- Records all materials in stock ledger. Physically verify stocks at the end of every month and enter in the material ledger. Checks material waste and advises management accordingly.
- Issues Material Transfer Notice (MTN) for all materials which are transferred to MO or other sites.
- Maintains files for allocation of manpower, memos, equipment, miscellaneous safety items issue, and petty cash etc.
- Issues of Fixed Asset Receipt and Inspection Report (FARIR) on due time for fixed assets and scaffoldings. Records all fixed assets and scaffolding in stock ledger.
- Records tools in the register and obtains signature when going out from site.
- Follows up and ensures transferred scaffolding and other fixed assets reach their destinations.
- Maintains a record of machinery repair and servicing.
