Senior Shopify Plus Web Developer - home office based anywhere remote USA reporting to the Director of Technology based near Los Angeles / San Diego. A nationally remote virtual team, this is a 6 year old dynamic, smart, rapidly growing health & wellness company. Privately owned by an established Naturopathic Dr, with strong 1st party eCommerce sales, direct to consumer digital marketplace, for nutritional supplements, greens, detox shakes and services including health coaching membership and nutritional home lab testing kits.Their growth has been achieved partly through a very loyal social media following, a top podcast, targeted online advertising, excellent products, services and passionate customer referrals.Roles & Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the Shopify themes and scriptsIntegrate 3rd Party and SaaS platforms with each otherBuild and maintain websites, databases and applicationsWrite clean, intuitive, maintainable codeWork with the tech and marketing teamsMaintain a high standard of excellence with best practices Qualifications:Minimum of 4 Years of experience in Website Development, front end web developer Familiarity with eCommerce, specifically Shopify PlusRestAPI, GraphQL, JSON and web authenticationExperience developing for responsive layouts for a desktop, tablet, and mobileSEO best practices, A/B and unit testingKnowledge of Responsive Design best practicesStrategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and pay attention to detail to execute with excellenceHighly motivated problem-solver and self-starter, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate well, giving proactive feedback to peers and team Good organizational skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Business Systems or similarBluZinc Consultancy have been retained by the Executive team to exclusively manage this talent acquisition and selection campaign.
