Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer (BSW) | Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)Drive the future of automotive mobility by designing high-performance computing platforms for a global automotive leader. This senior technical role focuses on developing reliable base software (BSW) and leading critical system bring-up for next-generation vehicles. Key ResponsibilitiesCore Development: Design and implement BSW components, including BSP, MCAL, bootloaders, and OS services.System Integration: Lead board bring-up, HAL integration, and low-level driver development while resolving complex hardware-software interactions.Quality & Strategy: Drive improvements in diagnostics, automated testing (CI/CD), and software quality through static/dynamic analysis.Technical Leadership: Mentor engineering teams, lead tech stack selection, and guide strategic launch plans.Collaboration: Partner with hardware teams on component selection and interface with third-party vendors for stack tuning.RequirementsQualificationsExperience: 10+ years in BSW development with a track record of bringing systems to mass production.Technical Mastery: Expert in C, C++, Java, and HTML5, with deep knowledge of RTOS and embedded architectures.Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of ISO 26262 functional safety, vehicle EE architectures, and HPC software.Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.BenefitsSalary: $150k – $190k DOE Travel: <15% Excellent bonus, benefits, and growth potentialSenior Staff Embedded Software Engineer (BSW) | Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)Drive the future of automotive mobility by designing high-performance computing platforms for a global automotive leader.
