Design and deliver high-quality architecture and APIs across Edge, Chromium, and the broader web ecosystem. Deliver foundational web platform innovations grounded in customer, developer, and ecosystem needs, with a focus on correctness, performance, security, accessibility, and compatibility. Contribute directly to Chromium in areas that benefit Chromium-based browsers and the broader web community. Partner with standards bodies, open-source communities, browser vendors, and internal teams to advance interoperable web capabilities. Provide technical guidance and mentorship, helping raise the bar for engineering quality and execution. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Python These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Experience contributing to large-scale software engineering projects. 5+ years of experience with C++. Experience designing or implementing browser, runtime, operating-system, or other performance-critical systems. Experience with the Chromium codebase and web standards, or with comparable browser or runtime systems. Demonstrated ownership of complex engineering projects and effective cross-team collaboration.
