We are looking for a high-caliber Software Engineer who understands how to build the cloud-native systems that control them.At our core, we provide a seamless "at-home" Wi-Fi experience for tens of millions of people in hotels, campgrounds, and student housing globally. We are currently in the middle of a major evolution, transitioning our central authentication platform to an AWS cloud-native environment. We need a senior developer who can bridge the gap between sophisticated cloud architecture and the hardware at the edge. The Role: Build the "Brains" of the NetworkIn this role, you won't just be writing code; you will be architecting the software that caters to network devices. You will work within an Agile/Scrum environment to build scalable, security-hardened services that manage device lifecycles and authentication workflows. What You’ll Do: Architect & Implement: Build software systems that interact with or control global network infrastructure. Cloud Evolution: Drive our transition to AWS Serverless—we want to solve problems using modern cloud-native patterns, not just managing servers and containers. Protocol Integration: Deep dive into RADIUS, 802.1X, and AAA technologies to ensure secure, effortless connectivity for millions of users. Automation: Develop the tools and APIs that streamline configuration and authentication across a diverse portfolio of devices (routers, switches, firewalls). RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For: 10+ Years of Engineering: You have a proven track record of shipping complex, scalable products. The "Network Intuition": While you are a developer first, you understand routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalling. You know how software and hardware need to "talk" to each other. AWS Expertise: Deep experience in AWS systems, with a strong emphasis on Serverless architecture. Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with RADIUS and certificate-based authentication is a major plus. Tooling: Experience with MikroTik devices and RouterOS is highly desirable (but if you have a strong background in other networking hardware/APIs, we still want to talk to you). Tech Stack: Linux (CLI), Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation). BenefitsWhy Join Us? Massive Impact: Your code will directly impact the daily lives of tens of millions of users worldwide. Modern Engineering: We are committed to staying on the cutting edge of AWS Serverless technology. Remote-First: Work from wherever you are most productive in the U.S. Stable & Growing: We are a successful, scaling company with the agility of a startup and the stability of an established leader.
