We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Backend Engineer with a strong focus on backend testing and distributed systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of complex applications built on a microservices architecture by planning, executing, and evaluating various testing activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with excellent analytical and communication skills who enjoys collaborating across multiple development teams. Responsibilities:Plan and execute integration, system and usability testingTaking part of E2E and UAT testingValidate complex backend flows across multiple microservices and integrationsWork with the developers to understand the critical paths and ensure product stabilityBuild better cooperation with other Dev TeamsCollaborate closely with cross-functional and cross-team stakeholders to improve overall product qualityRequirementsAt least 5+ years of experience as software testerHighly motivated team player with strong communication skillsWorking experience in planning, analysis, execution and evaluation of testsWorking experience and knowledge of common test design techniquesStrong test analytics skillsUnderstanding of mobile and web-based applicationsStrong backend-focused testing experienceExperience testing microservice-based architectures across multiple servicesUnderstanding of asynchronous and event-driven systemsExperience with AWS SNS/SQS based integrations and messaging flowsUnderstanding of software development lifecycleKnowledge of defect management tools like: Jira, YouTrack etc.Knowledge of test management tools like: TestRail, Xray etc.Experience of API testing tools: Postman, Swagger etc.Experience with SQL databasesAbility to analyze logs, trace requests and validate data flow across servicesExperience in AgileTesting in projectsStrong cross-team collaboration and communication skills while working with multiple development teamsNice to have:Experience with test automation for web and mobile applications.
