Purpose of the Role

Are you passionate about using technology and data to drive innovation, improve client outcomes and shape the future of service delivery?

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Data Management & IT Solutions to lead the development and optimisation of data and technology solutions across our Asset Management Services business. Combining technical expertise, strategic thinking and people leadership, you'll play a key role in enhancing data quality, improving operational efficiency and delivering exceptional client experiences across employee equity and share plans, fund administration and SPV administration.

Working closely with Operations, IT, Sales and senior stakeholders, you'll help deliver scalable, future-focused solutions that support Ocorian's growth strategy. You'll act as a trusted partner across the business, driving technology-enabled change while ensuring strong governance, data integrity and operational excellence.

A key initial priority will be leading the transition of our EIS client portfolio onto Ledgy, helping maximise the platform's value for both clients and internal teams. You'll also have the opportunity to explore how emerging technologies and AI-powered tools can enhance administration, bookkeeping, accounting and reporting processes.

Alongside this, you'll contribute to wider transformation initiatives, including enhancements to eFront, improvements to data governance and the development of more consistent data practices across core systems.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, building expertise in data management, systems and share plan technology.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Technology & Solutions Delivery

You'll be instrumental in shaping and delivering the technology solutions that underpin our client service offering.

You'll:

  • Lead the delivery, enhancement and optimisation of AMS and EIS technology solutions, including Ledgy and related platforms.
  • Drive automation, scalability and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and client outcomes.
  • Act as the senior subject matter expert for data, systems and technology-related initiatives across the business.

Client & Commercial Engagement

This is a highly visible role that combines technical leadership with client engagement and commercial awareness.

You'll:

  • Build trusted client relationships, providing expert guidance on technology solutions, data models and implementation approaches.
  • Support business development, onboarding and sales activities through technical expertise and solution-led insights.
  • Demonstrate platform capabilities and help articulate the value of technology-driven solutions to clients and prospects.

Client Onboarding & Operational Integration

You'll play a critical role in ensuring new clients are onboarded successfully and technology solutions are embedded effectively.

You'll:

  • Oversee client onboarding from a data and systems perspective, ensuring smooth migrations, validation and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure technology solutions align with operational processes, regulatory obligations and control requirements.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex onboarding, integration and system-related challenges.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Success in this role will come through strong partnerships and collaboration across the business.

You'll:

  • Partner with Operations, IT, Product, Risk and Compliance teams to deliver strategic technology and data initiatives.
  • Support the development and execution of the AMS and EIS technology and data strategy.
  • Drive cross-functional projects that enhance client service, operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Additional Responsibilities

You'll also:

  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical, data and operational issues.
  • Support the development of policies, processes and governance frameworks relating to systems and data management.
  • Contribute to wider business initiatives and strategic transformation projects as required.

  • A-Level education or equivalent, with degree-level education desirable.
  • A relevant professional or technical qualification in areas such as accounting, technology, systems, data management or financial services.
  • A passion for technology, innovation and continuous learning.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability and commercial awareness.

You'll likely have:

  • Significant experience within Asset Management Services, Employee Incentive Services, share plans or financial services technology environments.
  • A proven track record of leading teams responsible for data management, systems delivery or technology-enabled transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality and operational risk management.
  • Significant experience within Asset Management Services, Employee Incentive Services, share plans or financial services technology environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams responsible for data management, systems delivery or technology-enabled transformation.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, operational controls and risk management.
  • Experience working with platforms such as Ledgy, eFront or comparable SaaS-based solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience working directly with clients, supporting onboarding, solution delivery and relationship management.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve client outcomes, efficiency and business growth.
