Senior Mechanical EngineerLocation: Toronto, ONType: Permanent Full-time Primero America’s team is currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join our talented team and be part of Primero’s growth and success. Primero is an Australian-founded company, established in 2011 and rapidly growing in Montreal since 2016. We specialize in the design, procurement, and construction management of mineral processing plants. Your mission: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for mechanical engineering calculations, specifications, datasheets, mechanical equipment list (MEL) and vendor review & recommendation. This role will also provide technical expertise and support in the areas of mechanical engineering design, calculation, operation, maintenance, field execution/supervision and project management as required. The Mechanical Engineer will also be responsible for all other task required to produce the mechanical deliverable for the on-going Studies or Detailed engineering work. This person could be acting as Lead Mechanical Engineer, or Area Manager on specific mining projects. This position is reporting to the Discipline Lead – Mechanical Engineering.Key Responsibilities:Design and perform calculations for mechanical equipment and systems (e.g., crushers, mills, conveyors, HVAC, etc.) Prepare and review engineering deliverables including datasheets, specifications, and technical reports.
