Job PurposeThe incumbent serves as a trusted strategic advisor, thought partner, and operational catalyst to the Group Managing Director. This role bridges executive strategy and operational execution, driving enterprise-wide transformation, project oversight, and corporate performance optimization.Key Responsibilities & Desired Outcomes1. Strategic Thought Partnership Strategic Advisor: Act as a critical thought partner and troubleshooter for the GMD on complex strategic and operational matters.Executive Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between the Executive Committee and external stakeholders or outside groups.Meeting Contribution: Act as a key contributor at executive leadership meetings, capturing action items and providing a high-level overview of executive productivity.2. Transformation & Relationship ManagementDrive Transformation: Support organizational transformation efforts, actively driving culture and behavior change initiatives.Build Relationships: Foster highly collaborative relationships with enterprise leaders to ensure seamless project coordination and business administration.Cascading Initiatives: Transmit critical follow-up items from leadership meetings directly to Heads of Departments (HODs) and Project/Project Cluster Managers (PCMs).3. Project Evaluation & Risk AssessmentOptions Appraisal: Evaluate strategic options and formulate clear recommendations to the GMD and Executive Committee regarding new and existing projects.Risk & Cost Analysis: Assess risk profiles, cost structures, and resource/work requirements necessary to achieve project goals.End-to-End Oversight: Facilitate and oversee enterprise-level projects from inception to complete execution.4. Business Analytics & InvestmentsData-Driven Analysis: Conduct rigorous data analysis on potential new business ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.CFO Collaboration: Formulate approach recommendations and identify key stakeholders to engage, working with financial input and support from the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).RequirementsKey Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.Experience: 8–12 years of corporate strategy, management consulting, or senior PMO experience, preferably supporting C-suite executives.Analytical Skills: Strong financial acumen and data analysis capabilities to evaluate investment proposals.Communication: Exceptional stakeholders management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
