Senior Landman / Manager

CSI Recruiting is working with a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company seeking a Senior Landman to focus on the company’s assets throughout the Rockies and Mid-Continent.The role will have significant autonomy while also working within a team of experienced E&P professionals and will report to the EVP of Land and Business Development.Responsibilities Will Include:Manage, acquire and negotiate Land and Lease AssetsManagement of Contracts, JOAs and AgreementsPerform Title reviewFunction as the primary liaison between Company and landownersManage GIS Mapping projectsPerform permitting and regulatory complianceEngage and manage 3rd party consultants as needed to perform field workIn tandem with the engineering, geoscience and business development teams, perform asset evaluation and acquisition due diligenceWork closely and directly with management and operations to provide support for field assets.Experience with BLM and State Agencies requiredRequirementsIdeal candidates will have 6 to 12+ years as an in-house Landman within an active exploration and production company with an emphasis on assets within the Rockies and Mid-ContinentBS in Energy Management, Business, Law or related fieldCPL preferred. Travel requiredAbility to work on projects with limited supervision.
