Senior Java Lead - Full Remote

For an international organization in Geneva, Switzerland, we are urgently looking for a Full REMOTE Senior Java Lead. During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews. All positions are long-term.This role can be performed remotely from Europe.Tasks and responsibilities:Using Agile methodologies, develop plans for the delivery cycle of the software products of the division, lead teams of developers to deliver regular software releases with agreed features and functionality;Work closely with product owners and other team members to manage the requirements and specifications for future product releases;Work in consultation with IPOBSD software architect to refactor existing software components to aws using native services as appropriate;Improve the existing CI/CD processes to include automated system integration, automated testing, and sanity business regression tests;Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors, consultants to deliver projects;Document recommendations for improvements to the WIPO IP Office Suite products through proof of concepts, technical guidelines;Communicate processes and best practices to the team through internal workshops, tutorials, and documentation;Profile:Bachelor or Master degree;+12 years of experience in the development of large software applications;+3 years of as a development team leader;Agile development practices including continuous delivery, team management, sprints, MVP;Knowledge of Java, Primefaces, Angular, and related software development frameworks;Skilled in delivering software using git, bamboo, and related software management tools;In-depth knowledge of major AWS services such as RDS, ECS, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc;In-depth knowledge of cloud best practices such as the AWS Well-Architected Framework;Fluent in English;Desirable:Knowledge of DevOps processes and best practices including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery;Knowledge of tools and processes for test automation;Location: Remote;Salary/Day price:Depending on experience;Interested:Please send your resume and motivation to resume@be-consultancy-group.com..
