Our client, a well-established hospitality group in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and enhance the organization's IT infrastructure across its hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco networking solutions and Palo Alto Networks firewalls, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing IT services that support both business operations and exceptional guest experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and data center environments.Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.Administer and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, NAT, URL filtering, IPS, and threat prevention.Ensure maximum network availability, performance, and security across hospitality properties.Monitor infrastructure health and proactively resolve system and network issues.Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.Support hospitality systems including Property Management Systems (PMS), POS systems, guest Wi-Fi, IPTV, VoIP, CCTV, and access control.Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology implementation projects.Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver IT projects and maintain service levels.Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior IT team members.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and company IT policies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Administration.At least 3 years of experience within the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, hospitality group, or luxury property).Strong hands-on experience with: Cisco Routing & SwitchingCisco Wireless SolutionsPalo Alto Networks FirewallsVPN TechnologiesNetwork SecurityWindows Server AdministrationActive DirectoryVMware or Hyper-VExperience supporting enterprise hospitality applications and guest technology infrastructure.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred CertificationsCisco CCNA or CCNP EnterprisePalo Alto PCNSA or PCNSEVMware VCP (preferred)Microsoft Certified (Windows Server or Azure)ITIL Foundation (preferred)To view other vacancies we have, please check our website (www.blackpearlconsult.com) and follow us on our social media accounts - LinkedIn / Facebook / Twitter / Instagram Disclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
