π¬The Role
Our client is looking for a hands-on, execution-focusedSenior HR Managerto drive and manage their day-to-day people operations. This position is based in theUAE(with flexibility for candidate placement within the widerGCCregion).
As the company undergoes rapid expansion, the successful candidate will be the main point of contact on the ground for all operational HR functionsβfrom managing daily employee relations and local compliance to executing recruitment plans and overseeing monthly payroll. The client needs a grounded, proactive HR professional who loves getting their hands dirty, understands the local labor landscape inside and out, and can seamlessly keep the operational engine running across the UAE, Middle East, and international hubs.
π€The Responsibilities
Day-to-Day HR Operations:Own the entire employee lifecycle. Manage onboarding/offboarding, maintain accurate digital employee records, and resolve daily employee relations issues with a practical, empathetic approach.
Local & Regional Compliance:Ensure 100% compliance with local Labor Laws). Manage visa processing, labor contracts, MOHRE/freezone regulations, and remain the internal expert on local employment legalities.
Recruitment & Sourcing:Actively manage the talent pipeline. Source, interview, and onboard talent to meet immediate hiring needs, ensuring a smooth and welcoming candidate experience.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:Oversee the monthly processing of local payroll, End of Service Benefits (EOSB) calculations, and the administration of corporate medical insurance and other local benefits.
Performance & Engagement:Implement and track annual performance review cycles. Drive local engagement initiatives to keep a high-performing team motivated and aligned with the company culture.
Cross-Border Collaboration:Work closely with international colleagues to align local operations with global frameworks, balancing local GCC nuances with international business standards (US/India).
πThe Skills & Competencies
Location:Must be based in theUAE(preferred) or within theGCCregion.
Experience:5β7 yearsof progressive HR experience, with at least 2β3 years in a standalone or senior generalist/managerial role. Experience within high-growth sectors like Tech, Fintech, or fast-paced corporate environments is highly valued.
Hands-on UAE/GCC/India Expertise:Deep, practical knowledge of UAE Labor Law, freezone vs. mainland regulations, visa processing systems, and End of Service calculations. Familiarity with Saudi Arabia (Qiwa, GOSI) or other GCC and India labor frameworks is a massive plus.
Operational Grit:A proven track record of being a "team of one" or leading small operational teams. Someone who prefers execution and problem-solving over high-level theoretical strategy.
Communication:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.Proficiency in Arabic is a strong assetfor navigating local government relations and entities.
HR Tech Savvy:Strong proficiency with modern HRIS platforms, localized payroll software, and daily productivity tools.
