Job description
This is a remote position. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a team working with a global leader in the automotive industry, contributing to the development of cloud-native applications deployed in modern Kubernetes environments. In this role, you will work as part of an agile development team, building and evolving backend services and supporting the delivery of new features in short development cycles. You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, helping deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions in a cloud-based environment. The role combines backend development, cloud-native engineering, and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on Java-based technologies and Kubernetes platforms. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications in a cloud-native environment Build and enhance backend services and APIs using modern Java frameworks Develop and optimize database models and data access layers Deploy and operate applications running on Kubernetes-based platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives Support CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines Ensure application quality, performance, and maintainability through engineering best practices Requirements Strong experience with: Java Spring Boot Experience with relational databases, such as: PostgreSQL Other SQL databases Solid knowledge of: REST APIs SQL Hands-on experience with: Kubernetes Kubernetes ecosystem and tooling Experience with: GitHub Actions CI/CD practices Strong understanding of software engineering best practices Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams Fluency in English Nice-to-have Experience with AWS environments Experience building and operating cloud-native applications Familiarity with containerization and DevOps practices Knowledge of scalable and distributed system architectures Strong problem-solving and communication skills If this sounds like you, share your CV with us and let’s talk!
